GIOVANNI PREPARES FOR BATTLE

Hello from Argentina. Well here we are again for another Rally Argentina, the place where I first went on the WRC podium. Gigi is feeling good about this rally and we are both ready to tackle the gravel stages for the first time since 2006. It has been raining heavily here for the past two days now so the conditions are going to be a challenge but we had a good shakedown this morning and the hard compound Pirelli tyres are feeling good in the wet. I have caught a bit of a cold this morning but hopefully some medicine from the team doctor and a good sleep tonight will sort things out; it is not the best way to feel just before the start of a rally! We had a long way to travel to get here, over 24 hours, but for me this is one of the best rallies as the people are very fanatic and the atmosphere is electric. Hopefully this rain will go away and we can have another successful event with our new Stobart team. I’m off for a nice Argentine steak; catch you all at the end of the rally.
